Pumpkin Patch Sapling Bonsai

Arbori Saplings are young forest keepers that will one day protect the trees alongside their elders, the Grand Arbori.  As adolescents, the Saplings work to cultivate small crops of mushrooms, ferns, and other small plants and flowers.  They offer protection to traveling birds who can often be seen perched on their heads or shoulders.  The birds in turn offer help with cross pollination of the surrounding plants.  This relationship often grows with them into adulthood.

Hand painted cast urethane resin with textured moss along the back of the figure.  Preserved moss substrate with plastic pumpkins.  Glazed ceramic pot.  Comes signed and dated by the artist.

Measures 7in/17cm in height in a 4in/10cm pot.
